In this week’s World Fare, I wax nostalgic about old-school Chinese-American cuisine and how my family had a weekly appointment for Sunday night dinner at the College Area’s dearly departed New Moon Chinese restaurant. One of the fixtures of our Sunday night meals was the Hot and Sour Soup that my sister, Jacqueline, would nearly always order. This, as best as I can figure, is how they made it:
