NEWS: ¡LATIN FOOD FEST! Announces Its 2013 Grand Tasting Program

The Grand Tasting will host 100 restaurants, chefs, and purveyors of food, wine, spirits and beer, and include a roster of celebrity chefs including Aarón Sánchez, Ingrid Hoffman, Javier Plascencia, Daisy Martinez and many others who will conduct cooking demonstrations, tastings and book signings.

LATIN FOOD FEST GRAND TASTING

San Diego, (August 2013) – Festival director Richie Matthews is pleased to unveil the program schedule for the 2013 ¡LATIN FOOD FEST! Grand Tasting.  Of the 14 ¡LATIN FOOD FEST! (www.latinfoodfest.com) events that will take place from September 12 -15, the Grand Tasting will be the signature extravaganza of the Festival.

Taking place September 14 from 11:00 am to 3:00pm at The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier, the Grand Tasting will deliver a dynamic line-up of top winemakers, spirits producers, chefs, and culinary personalities from around the Latin world for an unparalleled weekend that will Educate Palates and Entertain Patrons, in High Style.

Adding to the excitement, ¡LATIN FOOD FEST! is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank to benefit the Childhood Hunger Initiative®, Media Arts Center and The James Beard Foundation.

“We are thrilled to announce the finalized San Diego Grand Tasting program–our signature event,” noted Matthews, who also serves as the president of DIÁLOGO, the Festival producer.  “We will feature a truly impressive line-up of host chefs and food, paired with the finest wines, spirits and beer.”

The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier will be the home of the Festival’s signature Grand Tasting presented by Anheuser-Bush and BevMo! with Culinary Demonstrations presented by Northgate Markets.  Celebrity chefs and culinary personalities appearing on the Culinary Demonstration stage includes Aaron Sanchez, Javier Plascencia, Chef LaLa, Ingrid Hoffman, Daisy Martinez, Doreen Colondres, and many more.

The Grand Tasting will host 100 restaurants, chefs, food, wine, spirits and beer purveyors, and will include:
