Karl Prohaska is a comedian. No, hang on, he’s a Chef. A funny one, but a Chef (Executive Chef and General Manager of the Mad House Comedy Club in Horton Plaza). Or maybe he’s a tasty comedian. Either way his weekly Shot and a Beer is must listen stuff. Up until recently, listen to it is all I did. A few weeks back I found myself on the other side of the mic.
From how I got from law to food (through music), modern Kosher, high end Baja and the state of the San Diego food scene, there really was little that wasn’t on the table and wasn’t “kosher.” I met Karl on the Eating and Drinking San Diego Facebook group and I’m glad I did.
